The UIS plan to return includes that it depends on Illinois staying in phase 4. If we go back to phase 3, what can we expect?
Ingrid Franco

Ive noticed that there are guidelines set on what rooms people can use for events and their capacity. However, are there any limitations as to events being held outdoors?
Jayla Stubblefield
01:10:26
Hypothetically, if someone does throw a party, how will that be handled as far as disciplinary action?
Cheyenne Drink
01:14:07

Ann Comerford
01:15:17
There will be guidelines for outdoor events as well as inside.
Ann Comerford
01:16:29
With the short time - please put questions this chat - if they have not been covered we will review and get answers back to you
Ashlyn Beasley
01:17:02
Answer to sport events and gathering: Right now, we do not have any sporting events that will occur until potentially November 13th (basketball). As it stands, we do not have further direction on fans at events but will provide more infomraiton on that as we receive updates!

We will address any allegations of policy violations through the Student Discipline Process. This would include violating established guidelines.
Ann Comerford

Will professors penalize us for missing classes due to health reasons?
Jarrod Knapper
01:24:26
I know attendance impacts your grades in many classes
Cheyenne Drink
01:24:48
good question
Jantzen
01:25:13
In addition to letting your professors know that you will be absent you can you can also let the Dean of Students Office and we can reach out to them on your behalf.
Salela, Pamela M
01:25:19
Will faculty be informed if hey have a student who has tested positive?
dpapi2
01:25:33
No, students should not be penalized if they are not in class due to health issues. I believe that most professors are aware of the need to be flexible on attendance policies.
Umbarger, Mary E
01:25:59
